neighborhoodies = bad
ok. so im getting really sleepee and should hit the hay soon but before that we are going to talk about neighborhoodies and how lame it is.
it's basically run by a bunch of hipsters/ tischers who have decided to slap decals on over-priced American Apparel quality sweatshirts and the like. "bushwick queen," "LESer," "Upper East Side" in goth fonts? please. like you are really tough. well, guess what, I am going to punch in your face and then run away.
And 2day, on the way to bay ridge, i passed by the store in/near brooklyn heights and it was so ridonk. i didn't stop in but I did glare at it. the fact that the Today show did a piece on it as a must-get Christmas item was even more stupid. im sure oprah will put their items under everyone's chairs now... i wouldn't even dress up Casey in one of their tees.
Casey is the dog i walk. he loves me and i love him- kind of.
this weekend i really want to go to misshapes or something and dance my heart out. want 2 come?!
jk, i prob. won't; im sure i'll be "cracking the lsat"
what i really want to do (& what you should do too if you have time & are in the area) is to check out the new hirst paintings at the g----- gallery and the photo-realist artist at the MoMA.
if you like bridges, there is a celebration exhibit of the verrezano bridge down at the trans. museum in brooklyn heights on/ near pierrepont. and of course, the basquiat exhibit at brooklyn museum. who could resist?!?
man, this new blog thing is great. maybe it'll help me kill more increments of my time at work...
mzk: polaris
ps: i really like moby. i used to read his blogs frosh year and for what he is/ what he became, he seems really down to earth and stuff. also, it's cool that he's listened to NAS for 10+ years and stopped by the other day!!!
